Recently many things are told and advices are given on diet. The most important,cheap and readily available is vegetables. The most important content those help are fibre ,Vitamins and water content in it. Fibre is the building block of the vegetables and are non digestable in human beings. It is also present in whole cereals.These fibres retain water and form bulk of stool, so that constipation is avoided and empting time of stool in gut is increased/optimed.This in tern helps in early elimination of harmful chemicals from gut and results in less contact period with gut interior.It is known that excreted chemicals from metabolism and those formed in the process of digestion if remain in contact for longer period induces changes in the inner part of gut called mucosa.
Early elimination helps in preventing colon cancer,irritable bowel syndrome.On the other hand red meat causes constipation resulting in longer period of contact of chemicals with gut mucosa and initiating cancer process.
